Team Training and Hiring

A team that runs
the system, without you.

A marketing team executing tactics without a strategy is expensive busy work. I train your existing team on the systems that move the numbers, hands-on, in your own accounts, built around your real business. And when it is time to grow, I help you hire the right people and hand them a 30/60/90-day plan so they hit the ground running instead of waiting to be told what the job is.

Built around your business

The systems taught here are the ones on the other service pages, running in real client accounts. The training is how your team takes them over.

Most businesses get stuck one of two ways: outsource everything and own nothing, or do it all in-house with no expertise. Training your team is the third way, and it is the one that compounds.

What Gets Taught

The systems,
not the theory.

Every item below is a system already running in client accounts, documented on its own page on this site. Your team learns the ones your business needs, in the order it needs them, until they can run them without me.

01

The trial reels framework and the Edits workflow

Three versions of every reel, 72-hour trials on a cold audience, reading the signals, releasing the winner, and repurposing it everywhere. Taught in the app, on your content. The framework.

02

The content system

Talking heads with three start points, carousels, SEO-written captions, story sequencing, and the batching workflow that gets a month of content made in a day. The organic social system.

03

Reading the data

Search Console and analytics, the four numbers that matter, what a click rate is telling you, which posts to double down on, and how to tell whether a freelancer or agency is doing the work. Every team member learns this first.

04

The CRM and the follow-up

Where leads land, who follows up and when, round-robin rules for a team, and the automations that stop leads falling through. The marketing is wasted without this half.

05

Search and answer engine basics

How a page ranks, how it gets quoted by AI, what a title is for, and how to write a service page or a post the machines can read. Enough to publish well and to brief a specialist properly. The SEO page.

06

The operating cadence

The weekly and monthly rhythm: what gets made, posted, reported, and reviewed, by whom, on which day. A team with a cadence does not need a manager standing over it.

How It Is Delivered

In your accounts,
on your work.

Hands-on, in the real thing

No slide decks and no sample accounts. We work in your Instagram, your Search Console, your CRM, on this week’s content, so the training and the output are the same thing.

Built around your business

A solo entrepreneur and a firm with twelve agents do not need the same training. The curriculum is assembled from the systems your business uses, and nothing else.

Playbooks you keep

Every system gets written down for your business as we go: the steps, the settings, the cadence, the checks. When the training ends, the playbooks stay, and so does the team’s ability to run them.

Independence is the goal

The measure of success is that you stop needing me for the day-to-day. Sessions taper as the team takes over, and I stay reachable for the questions that come up after.

Hiring

The right people,
and a plan for their first 90 days.

Most marketing hires fail in the first quarter for one of two reasons: the role was never defined, or the person was never given a job with milestones. Both are fixable before the listing goes up.

01

Define the role

What the business needs done, at what level, in-house or contract, and what it should cost the business in time before it costs money. Half of hiring conversations end here with a different answer than they started with.

02

Write the listing and the questions

A listing that describes the job instead of a wish list, and the interview questions that separate operators from talkers. The same questions work for a marketer, an agency, or a fractional CMO.

03

Evaluate the candidates

Portfolios and work samples read for what the person did versus what their team did, a second read in the interviews if you want one, and a straight recommendation.

04

The 30/60/90-day plan

What the hire learns in the first 30 days, what they own by day 60, and what they are measured on by day 90, written before their first day. It is the difference between a new hire settling in and a new hire producing.

05

The first quarter, checked

Milestone check-ins through the first 90 days, so a hire that is drifting gets corrected in week three instead of month four.

Three Ways to Work

Execute, train,
or both.

Training is one of three ways to run marketing with me, and the three are designed to hand off to each other.

A

I execute it

I run the marketing and own the outcome, as fractional CMO or through the organic social service. You run the business.

B

I train your team

You keep marketing in-house. Your team learns the systems, the workflows, the tools, and the cadence, and leaves able to run it with confidence. This page.

C

Hybrid

I handle the heavy lifting while training your team along the way. When they are ready to take the reins, fully or partially, they have the knowledge and the playbooks to do it.

One to One

For the owner
doing it alone.

You do not need to become a marketer

You need to stop making expensive guesses. One-to-one training for solo entrepreneurs and small business owners teaches you to read the data, make smarter decisions, and evaluate the freelancers and agencies you hire. Marketing literacy that makes you a sharper decision-maker, without turning you into a social media manager. It has its own page: one to one training for solopreneurs.

What you walk away with

  • The ability to read your own Search Console and analytics in ten minutes a week
  • A clear view of which marketing is working and which is producing activity
  • The questions to ask anyone you hire, and the answers that should worry you
  • A system for the marketing you do keep in-house, written down for your business
Who This Is For

A good fit,
and a bad one.

This is for you if

  • You have a team, or a person, executing tactics with no strategy behind them
  • You are about to make your first marketing hire and want to get it right
  • You want marketing to stay in-house and stop depending on outside help for the day-to-day
  • You are a solo owner who wants to read the data and hire well, without doing the marketing yourself
  • You are working with me already and want your team to take the system over

This is not for you if

  • You want someone to do the marketing for you. That is the done-for-you service, and I do that too
  • You want a certificate, not a working system
  • Your team will not be given the time to do what they learn

Ready to build a team
that runs it without you?

Book a call and tell me who is on the team, what they are doing now, and where the marketing is stuck. I will map which systems they need, in what order, and whether a hire belongs in the plan.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Who is the training for?

Your existing marketing team, a single in-house marketer, or you, if you are the one doing the marketing. It is built around your business and your accounts, so it fits whoever is holding the work.

What does the training cover?

The systems, not theory: the trial reels framework and the Edits workflow, the content system with three versions, talking heads, carousels, and SEO captions, reading Search Console and analytics, the CRM and follow-up, and the operating cadence that keeps it all running weekly. Whatever your business needs from that list, in the order it needs it.

Is it a course?

No. It is hands-on work in your accounts, on your content, with your data, and the playbooks get written for your business as we go. You keep them.

How is this different from the fractional CMO service?

A fractional CMO leads your marketing and owns the outcome. Training builds the team that can run it. They overlap on purpose: many engagements start with me executing, move to training, and end with your team running the system. The fractional CMO page covers the leadership seat.

Can you help me hire?

Yes. Defining the role and the level, writing the listing, the interview questions that separate operators from talkers, reviewing portfolios and work samples, and the 30/60/90-day onboarding plan so the new hire has a job on day one. I sit in on interviews if you want a second read.

What is a 30/60/90-day plan?

A written plan for a new hire’s first three months: what they learn in the first 30 days, what they own by day 60, and what they are measured on by day 90. It turns “settle in” into a job with milestones, and it is how a hire hits the ground running instead of waiting to be told.

I am a solo business owner. Is this for me?

Yes, as one-to-one training. You do not need to become a marketer. You need to read the data, make sharper decisions, and know whether the freelancers and agencies you hire are doing the work. That is what the one-to-one track teaches.

How long does it take?

It depends on the team and the systems. A single system, like trial reels, can be taught in weeks. A full team running the content engine and the reporting takes a quarter to become independent. The goal is always the same: you stop needing me for the day-to-day.
